"Jonny Quality play the kind of addictive beat-infested tuneage that our Northern Kid might refer to as 'Fresh!' Cheekily subversive, 'Dream On' mixes hip hop beats with acoustic guitars like its going out of fashion. This we like."

LOCK UP YOUR COUSINS...IT'S THOSE REDNECK, HICK-HOPPERS JONNY QUALITY!!!
So come one - come all to see the most important band to ever have been spawned from the same gene pool...

These boys could rock the chrome off a trailer hitch, with a sound described as rockabilly, surf hop their live performance mimics their energy in the recording studio with a theatrical stage show that everyone's talking about. Jonny Quality brings us back to the old days. When Hank Williams spewed out of a potato truck in a distant field and the smell of cattle chewing cud filled the air.

Jonny was reared in Washington State on a wheat farm where he picked up things like "Jeet" and "I sure do like you, wanna be my girl?" His innocence was short lived, you see he packed up and moved to the city and found hip-hop in San Francisco where he started the group Rooster. Rooster signed with Chrysalis Music Group in 1996. They released "Buick Regal" later that year. The album was a throwback to swamp stomp New Orleans Hick-Hop.

Jonny is currently eating out of rubbish bins in Brighton, UK, where he is adding yet another influence into his music. This project Vogue Gyratory shows off Jonny's acoustic guitar romps with a couple of guys called Pete, DJ Buck Wilde and Flapjack, adding more of a punkabilly influence. This demo scratches the tip of the material Jonny has to offer. Just ask any of the Brighton locals.

Jonny Quality has also finished touring with Fatboy Slim last November and playing on National British Television, appearing on the Jonathan Ross show and Jules Holland "Later". They also played on the Conan O'Brien Show in New York. Jonny donated one of his songs "Long Way From Home" to Fatboy for his latest album "Palookaville". Stay tuned for more from these guys.

Give them a listen and throw it towards one of them record label suit types and gives us a holler, bet your bottom dollar that Jonny will be there.
